Finding a Vacation Rental

How can I tell if a listing allows pets?

To find out if one of our listings will let you bring your pet for your stay, check the information & description section of the accommodation listing page. It’s also a good idea to contact us before you book, to find out if there are any specific restrictions.

Even if a listing appears in the Pets allowed category, you should contact the us to check if the status is still current and if specific restrictions apply.

How do I know if a listsing is available?

Search Here to view all property listings that are available for your selected dates.

Our calendars are usually accurate and up to date, however if there is an error or change to the availability of the home, we will notify your immediately when requesting a reservation.

What is self check-in?

Self check-in means that guests can access the listing using a key lockbox, smartlock, or electronic keypad, any time after the designated check-in time on your arrival date.

Most of our homes offer a self check-in process! If you have been awarded self check-in, you will receive a special personal entry code to the home to use on an electronically monitored door lock.

Can I visit a place to stay before I book?

We encourage all guests to complete their bookings through our website before meeting in person to best ensure guests safety and privacy.

For safety reasons to our other guests and properties, we do not permit potential guests to visit any homes before going through the identification approval process and booking the home with a payment method.

There are many ways to learn more about a place to stay without visiting the property. All of our homes provide detailed information and professional accurate photos of our listings as well as some video walk-throughs to help guests feel confident about the home they are considering.

How do I book a place on StayInBoise.com?

  1. Browse our homes Here - by location, available dates and amenities to find the perfect rental!
  2. Click on the property listing of your choice and add your stay details like the number of guests, pets that will be staying with you, and request extra services and amenities!
  3. Once the perfect vacation home is found and your details have been selected, just click INSTANT BOOK to start your reservation booking!
  4. Next you'll simply submit your government ID, provide your refundable security deposit, and sign your rental agreement. Once submitted, processed, and verified, you'll be all set! You've just saved 100's by renting a vacation home without paying booking platform fees!

What are the requirements to book on Stayinboise.com?

We ask everyone who uses StayInBoise.com for a few pieces of information before they book with us. Guests need to have this info completely filled out before they can make a reservation request. This info helps make sure we know who to expect, and how to contact the guest.

StayInBoise.com's requirements for guests include:

  • Be over the age of 25

Provide:

  • Full Legal Name
  • Email address
  • Phone Number
  • Uploaded Government ID
  • Supply your Payment Information
  • Approve a Refundable Security Deposit
  • and Sign a Rental Agreement

Can I book on behalf of a friend or family member?

We require reservations booked for personal travel to be booked by the person who's going to stay at the listing.

Instead of making a reservation for someone else, consider referring them to StayInBoise.com.

For business trips and insurance company sponsored stays, we allow designated bookers at companies approved by StayInBoise.com to book trips on behalf of others. If you book travel for your company, find out more about booking for your team by emailing us at contact@stayinboise.com.

Is there a contract to sign?

All of our reservation bookings are subject to signing a short-term rental agreement. 

Should I buy travel insurance?

We always suggest purchasing vacation rental and travel insurance for guests protection.

Travel insurance may protect you against unexpected financial losses you incur while traveling or due to changes you have to make prior to traveling. Anyone who is traveling should consider purchasing travel insurance.

Travel insurance plans may include:

  • Trip cancellation: This benefit may cover you when certain covered reasons prevent you from taking your trip, like weather or worker strikes; sickness, injury, or death; or work-related interruptions.
  • Trip interruption: This benefit may reimburse you for expenses incurred if you need to end your trip early after it has begun.
  • Medical expenses: This benefit may reimburse you for medical expenses you incur because of an illness or accident that occurs during a trip.
  • Emergency assistance services: This benefit may provide assistance when you travel for critical needs like emergency transportation, medical evacuations, doctor referrals, and lost or stolen visas and passports.
  • Lost and damaged baggage protection: This benefit may provide coverage if your personal belongings are lost, stolen, or damaged during the trip.
  • Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR): This benefit may reimburse you for the whole trip or a portion of trip expenses incurred if the trip is cancelled for any reason.


    Before purchasing travel insurance, make sure to check your existing coverages. Some credit cards may offer travel insurance plans and other benefits, like rental car coverage. Your personal home, homeowner’s policy may have coverage for theft or loss of personal belongings while you’re away from home. You may also have coverage through your employer.

How old do I have to be to book a stay?

You must be 18 years or older to create an account and use StayInBoise.com's site and services. It's against our Terms and Conditions for people under the age of 25 to book a home as a primary guest.

How do I submit a reservation request?

How do I verify my identification?

  1. From your booking link page, click the red button labeled "Please verify your identity".
  2. Choose what kind of government ID you'd like to use.
  3. Take a picture of or upload a photo of your ID.
  4. Submit your Identification photo.

Once your ID has been uploaded, please check back to your booking link page to view the progress and verification status.

How do I submit my refundable security deposit?

  1. From your booking link page, enter your credit card information for deposit payment.
  2. Click on the "Submit credit card information button" to submit your payment details.

Your credit card will only be charged 24 hours before check-in (or immediately if check-in is less than 24 hours away) and will be refunded after check-out.

How do I cancel a reservation?

If you decide you would like to cancel a reservation booking please contact us at reservations@stayinboise.com
